My 140 was filed for a future Team lead position. I am currently a Sr Sw Engg with the same employer. The job description is nearly the same. But I am not sure how this little quirk effects my AC21 eligibility. When does my 180 day start counting ? From filing date or from the date I get the Team lead title ?

180 days start from filing of I-485.

Hi all,
I have posted my case details but here it is again. I got a reject on my H1 after receiving 221(g) form. Same old reason cited in the letter. The case reached USCIS on 28th Jan and no progress after that.
My husband works for the same company and he got his visa stamped after 221(g). Now i am planning to apply for H4. I have a few questions.
1)Can i go for H4 stamping without revoking my earlier H1? Will i be asked to revoke my H1?
2)Since my husband works for the same firm and i got a reject working for the same firm, can my H4 be a problem?
3)Can it be a problem to my husband's H1 who got it stamped successfully and is already in the US?
4)My idea of not revoking H1 is because i want to try a COS once i am in US, which some people have done it successfully. But does anyone know if this has to be done before April, before the new H1B quota opens up?

Can someone give me the site where i can get the current processing dates for PERM?
The Labour certification is going to be filed this month end, in that case how long i have to wait to file I140?
Also i heared that I140 and 485 can be filed together.
Is that true? if so what is required from my side to the attorney for those two stages.

Hi All,
My EB3 RIR is filed on Feb 2005. Waiting for LC to clear. Also H1B expires on Jun 2007. Waiting for H1B extension for another 1 year.

I would like to change my job once I get my H1B extension.

1) Can I change my Job during my one year H1B extension when my LC is not cleared?
2) Can I use my current PD (Feb 2005) when my new Company process LC again through EB2 PERM?
3) From the new company, once I get LC through EB2 PERM, can I apply H1B extension for 3 years?

Please advice. Waiting for you reply.

I am working for a consultancy company at direct client location. My client has filed a H1B transfer petition for me with job title as Lead Business Analyst. My current job title with consulting company is programmer analyst. My question is that if I go for visa stamping with new employer�s I797, will I have any issues in visa stamping if they see the change in job title from programmer analyst (consulting company) to Lead Business Analyst (Full time)?

My Receipt date for 485 is july 27th 2007 and nebraska is processing applications for this date.

I applied for cross chargeability on 10th March.. Any idea how long before my case is approved? My lawyer has confirmed that its possible and he claims that it should take 4-8 weeks. I wanted to check to see what the experience of people has been so far?

Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I heard that there was a deadline to send 45 day letter before end of June this year. And I have seen 45 day letters coming to my friends and me.

Question is: Is there any deadline for them to complete processing all cases???

Another concern. When they are done processing all 350K cases, think of retrogression!

You have to return both I-94's while ticketing ie before exiting and while entering at POE IO will give you new I-94 based on AP as Paroled AOS pending..

Ofcourse keep your copy of I-94 from your H1 Extension I-797 approval notice.
